Senecio (Baldgreis) is one of the most well-known works by the artist Paul Klee. Abstract forms are used to create a portrait inspired by African culture. His life and art were deeply influenced by philosophy and the Bauhaus movement, where he worked as a teacher in Weimar and Dessau.
