Product description
Senecio (Baldgreis) is one of the most famous works by the artist Paul Klee. Abstract forms are combined to create a portrait inspired by African mask and puppet culture. Klee created more than 10,000 works in various styles - from Cubism to Expressionism. His life and his art were influenced by the philosophy and visual language of the Bauhaus, where he taught in both Weimar and Dessau. The Paul Klee espresso cup Senecio (Baldgreis) brings the work onto a canvas made of bone china.
