Product description

Paul Ernst Klee was a German painter and graphic artist whose diverse work is attributed to expressionism, constructivism, cubism, primitivism and surrealism. Klee taught at the Bauhaus in Weimar and later in Dessau. His work Senecio (Baldgreis) from 1922 shows influences from African mask and puppet culture in its composition. The formal language of the Bauhaus, consisting of square, triangle and circle, also influenced Klee in this work.
