The German Mug Makers since 1909

In the blue sky above Horb

If everything seems really tiny and humans are as big as ants, then you are in an airplane or you flight in a hot-air balloon.

Hot air balloons and mugs by KOENITZ

Our trainee, Oliver Kleemann, travels to the German championship of ballooning, which was together with the 4th Horber Neckar-Balloncup on the 26th – 30th July 2018. During this time he looked from above to the landscape of Horb, but they also fought for every inch of the sky. He was equipped with energy, motivation and the Traveller’s mugs by KOENITZ.

Four days the same procedure: waking up at 3.30a.m., then briefing and the morning flight. After that he had the half day to chill and draw strength for the the evening flight at 7p.m.. Tasks were for example to hit a target point with a mark or “Maximum Distance”. That means to fly the longest way in 30 minutes time.

Because of the hot weather conditions it was a nice but also demanding ballooning. The team of our trainee (with pilot Judith Parkinson) placed the 25th rank in the Horber Neckar-Balloncup and the 17th rank in the German Championship. It was a successful adventure. Congratulations for this seeding and lots of luck for the Junior World Championship in Poland.

The handy - and for this occassion suitably - Traveller’s mugs sponsored by KOENITZ Oliver got rid of quickly and send us these beautiful pictures. We hope that the balloonists liked these little presents and we wish all of them every time „Glück ab, gut Land“.
